Lake Acuity was always covered in snow. Dewgong was happily sailing the icy waters, jumping out of the lake every now and then to check if his trainer was still there. And Lorelei was. Over looking the lake front, the once elite member watched her pokemon in the lake. Another was by her side, a pokemon she had caught recently while traveling the Sinnoh Region, a glaceon. She never held any interest for the mysterious eevee until she had heard it could evolve into this. Along with its interesting temperament, they had made a nice addition to her team.
"Prince." She called out, brushing the snow off her skirt. Even in this cold, she felt fine with her usual clothing. "It's time to go." The pokemon whined a little, indicating that he wanted to enjoy the waters more. Rolling on his back, the spoiled blubbery pokemon attempted to splash the icy trainer. She scoffed, easily sidestepping away from the attack. "Let's go." This time the words were said far more assertively. Her light mood from earlier was already running dry. The pokemon gave another whine, but complied this time around, beaching itself on the ground before her.
Lorelei walked up to him. Her gaze lingering on the scar that was leftover from where the poison had leaked into his tough skin. Prince nudged her hand, and the sharp gaze was back and directed at him. She pulled out her pokeball and with a flash he was gone.
Glaceon stared at his trainer questioningly. "There's nothing for us here." She answered, more to herself than for the pokemon's benefit.
ooc: for whoever replies, sorry for the shit post.

He was getting too old for this. Pasha pulled his coat tighter around himself, though he was rarely bitten by cold. He was born into these harsh climates, so he figured it was a mutual respect thing… if cold could even hold mutual respect. Nonetheless, no matter how old he got, trekking out into the wilderness had a certain appeal. He knew where he was going, but it was the getting there that was always just a little different every time. Pasha took a different path up to the lake, picking around the still trees and frozen ground, over the huge boulders that occasionally blocked the path and wading through tall, frosted grass. Yulian, his Zangoose, trotted right alongside him, sometimes on all fours and sometimes bipedal. His claws scraped the snow, creating long lines where they walked. His thick fur generally kept him warm enough, and as his trainer had been, Yulian lived his whole life in weather like this. Travelling to warmer places was always the hassle. Lake Acuity, he knew, was just up ahead. For some reason, it was like revisiting somewhere he was raised. Not home, mind, but close enough. It had been a very long while since he’d been back home; not since his sister passed, at least, and that was a good chunk of time ago. Perhaps he would, one day. Maybe. Yulian sensed they were near as well and bound up ahead of his trainer, breaking the tree line before he did. The lake itself seemed placid enough… aside from someone on the other side. The Zangoose lifted himself to his back legs, red and white ears perked and sniffing at the air in the direction of the human, and waiting for his own to arrive.
Hope you don't mind me jumping in.
