"Ah, its nice and sunny today. Just what we need," Valerie murmured to herself as she walked outside of her gym. No challengers today, and no room in her sketch pads for new designs, meant it was time to venture out into Laverre to purchase new art supplies and to talk to all the people.
Psyche, her lovely Gardevoir, followed closely beside her trainer. She didn't trust everything was going to be perfectly 'okay' ever since Valerie had related to her of the downfall of the Indigo League. The psychic pokemon feared these trainers were trying to target the high profile leaders and elites, but Valerie would always try to calm her. It had not exactly hit Kalos just yet, but when it did, Valerie would definitely try to put up a good fight against them.
Cutting her companion a side look, Valerie shook her head, wondering why the pokemon was always so concerned that the sky was going to fall at any moment. Laverre wouldn't be hit first, Lumiose City would be. "When they come, we'll be prepared. For now, try to enjoy this nice weather, Psyche." Valerie said softly before continuing on with their stroll through Laverre;

Kalos was probably one of the strangest places that Blaise had even dealt with. Even Rowly, who for the most part, was normally disinterested in everything but the current thought on her mind, was in a marvel of the region. Blaise had to admit though, a lot of people here seemed like they were involved somehow with the things he grew up with until he was five. Like Croissants. He did love them, and it seemed like every Cafe and Restaurant around here had them. It was one of the things he had enjoyed most when he was studying here. He looked down at Rowly, the beaver Pokemon whom was currently looking every which way. When he had come here, studying with other breeders, they had mocked him for having Rowly. Even if she was trained right and well kept, most people assumed that Bibarel could do anything right. Blaise didn't really care though, because Rowly wasn't bothered by it.
"Rowly, come on, we can't stand here all day." He commented Flatly. The Bibarel twitched her ears, slowly lumbering as Blaise headed forward. He was going to allow Wafer out as well, but once again, she had attempted to blow up someone's moving truck. He wasn't sure if that was going to be a permanent thing or if she was just going through a phase. But whatever the case, he really didn't need to be arrested. His hands were resting idly in his pockets, and he looked about as laid back as ever. He enjoyed a daily stroll though, the fresh air and the sun a pleasure, giving him time to open up to new thoughts.
Rowly however, spotted a female and her Pokemon companion up ahead. The Psychic types lovely flowing features, to Rowly, looked kind of like lettuce. Oh lettuce was so good! Without thinking, as usual, the Bibarel tore off ahead of Blaise, leaving the male with so little as a thought. She came tearing for them, the pair ahead, aiming to bite into the Gardivior's whitish gown-like feature. Blaise still lagged behind, but he wasn't even running. He was of course, too busy questioning his Bibarel's true sanity.
