It was refreshing to return to Nimbasa city, and more specifically to the gym. Memories of his gym battle with Elesa there exhilarated him, mainly because of the situation they were in. Being in the horrifying situation of being trapped in a roller coaster would cause anybody to experience a form of adrenaline, even if it was just the memory of it. The chill of it rushed down the trainer's spine, and then up again as a confident smile came across his face.
However, he wasn't visiting Nimbasa city's gym for a battle, instead he was looking into some acquaintances of his to try and get him help with his Fraxure. The dragon pokemon was very prissy, and most of the times she acted like she hated him. The only time she listened to him, or acknowledged he existed, was in a battle. Sure, perhaps the best person to ask something like this would have been Draiden since he was a dragon type trainer, but the first person that had come to mind when it came to gym leaders was Elesa. Type didn't matter that much, right? It could easily just be Hax's personality, which was why he wasn't too picky about types when he decided to check in for advice.
Black opened the doors to Elesa's gym, or attempted to, only to find out that the gym he was looking at was currently locked. Upon closer inspection, a note on the door stated that she moved gyms right now... Cue facepalming because Black just did that after reading the sign. As his hand slid off his face, Black quickly pulled out an updated elite guide from his pocket. Old habits die hard, really hard. After searching for the gym leader in his guide, it mentioned that she had two gyms now. The one he battled her at, and a... fashion model studio? With a sigh Black but the book away in his satchle before heading over to the studio about 2 buildings apart from the roller coaster gym.
Upon now opening the doors to the gym, Black tilted his head. This was a gym? Well, it was unique, that was for sure. "Elesa?" The teen asked in a loud voice as if to call out for her attention, "It's Black! I'm not here for a Gym Battle, unfortunately, I'm here for some advice!" He called out again, awaiting to see if he either A) walked into the wrong studio and failed hard, B) failed hard anyways or C) didn't make a total fool out of himself and walked into the right place.

Elesa was often doing things around her gym. Today she had dedicated herself to changing the colours of light globes. It was a menial task for sure but it was one the leader could accomplish of her own accord. The runway was lined one one side with bright white globes that flashed of their own accord but the other was filled with colour - something she had been working towards the whole morning.
Her fingers twisted around a globe as she fitted it into place and looked up at the door as it opened. The light from outside flooded in and her eyes adjusted to the light. She doubted it was a challenger - it rarely was - but she pulled herself up onto the runway either way, standing tall and placing her hands on her hips in a very 'You dare challenge me' stance. But it was short lived when the voice spilled through to her ears and the leader dropped her facade.
"Nearly thought you were one of my rare challengers, Black," She smirked as she walked forwards, much more casually than if she was making her rounds as a leader. "I didn't expect to see you back, but you want some advice, hm? Is it about a girl?" She climbed down so her long legs were hanging off the side of the catwalk, kicking off her heels and looking down at the newly entered trainer.
"Or perhaps a boy? What sort of advice can I give you, kiddo?" She teased, her lips curled upward somewhat mischeivously. Elesa could be cold and seem uncaring to those whom had never met her. But if you did right by her books, if you made her happy by doing what you were supposed to, well, she would definitely be much more amiable. Even friendly.
Black's face paled considerably at the comments from Elesa, he didn't need that kind of advice. Heck love had never been the first thing to be on the teen's mind, and the 'accusation' of it made Black quite a bit flustered. With a few mutters, the eighteen year old turned his face off to the side to hide the slight blush starting to form on his cheeks before pulling out a pokeball which held his Fraxure inside. "No, not that kind of advice." Black practically grumbled out his thoughts, although that didn't mean it wasn't audible. In cue, the brunette turned back around and aimed the pokeball towards one of the areas of the ground he was sure Hax could clearly stand on.
At the push of a button, the Fraxure was released from the pokeball that held it previously. A small silver glimmer shawn as the pokemon exited the ball, but disappeared seconds after it appeared. Once all was said and done, the pokemon that Black had just let out was an oddly colored Fraxure; charcoal colored scales lined it's body, which also had blue markings over it instead of the usual stone-gray and red. Similarly, the Fraxure's eyes also appeared to be the same color blue as her markings, instead of crimson. "I guess you could say I need girl advice, but the wrong kind of... girl." Black sighed as Hax proved his point, looking over to the two after stretching, only to quickly make a huffing noise before turning away with her arms crossed childishly. "You see, Hax has been like this ever since she recovered. I found her injured, as an Axew, and managed to get her back to health; once I did she evolved. But she acts like she hates me, but I did nothing wrong; and she'll listen to me in battle. She never runs away, either, just stays a few feet away... And acts like, this..." He continued, gesturing towards the black dragon in the process.
At Black's mildly frustrated statement, Hax flicked her tail before using her paws to clean her face similarly to a bunny-rabbit, but completely ignored the existence of the trainers near her.

The younger boy's suddenly white features gave Elesa pause to laugh gently at him. There was very few people she could tease so openly without being concerned for publicity or being attacked back and his flushing cheeks just were more kindling on the fire. Eventually her chuckles were masked as he grumbled out his protests and she stopped to listen properly to his actual story.
So it was advice about a female Pokemon. As much as she liked to tease him, Elesa was far more comfortable talking about the love of Pokemon than the love of people. She herself struggled with the idea of love and she had to have a deep emotional connection to even consider the possibility. "She seems rather.. bitey." She said as she watched the dragon type mull a little ways away. The flick of the tail and the attitude of the Pokemon in general made Elesa think of a jilted girlfriend who would do what she had to but nothing else.
"Well she cares about you enough to stay. She is quite a rare find too, Black. You're very lucky to find a shiny colouration. I've never seen one before now." The model mused, hooking her ankles together and watching the dragon once more. What advice could she give? Well, there was a few things she might suggest.
"Have you praised her, Black? She seems to be attached, or else she would genuinely run away. She listens when it is necessary but perhaps she feels somewhat like she is a new and unwanted member of your team. Perhaps you should attempt to praise and care for her to allow her to see that she is just as vital as the members that have been a part of it for a very long time? That is the first thing I can think of." As if deciding to get a better look, Elesa reached for the younger boy's wrist in an attempt to tug him closer to the Pokemon. She herself moved closer to pull him nearer.
It would be much easier to be able to give advice if she watched them interact, she decided, and she looked up at him through glistening and slightly mischeivous eyes. "Play with her in front of me. As if you were out on a route. I want to know how you interact."
