aren't you

'Now you know why. She feels like Epona is a one person pony. Either way, she enlisted us to help her track this Ponyta. So chin up and stop doing so much whining. One of Fel's ears twitched, emerald eyes focused on the back of his mother's head. 'That's lame. Did your time with team whatstheirnames take your braincells or some-- hey!' He was promptly flicked from his mother's back by a swift paw to the face by none other than Abosu, and Kleo sped up to reach Kalula's side. Abosu stopped to shake his head at Fel. 'Hope you learned to walk, runt.' Abosu sped up once again, ignoring his son's grumbling and going back to keeping his pace at Kalula's other side.
"I know, we should be in Nimbasa now, huh? But I'm not ready to face Elesa yet! She's still too strong for us, right Kleo?" Kalula asked. the large cat gave a simple nod. Kalula was her girl after all, and if she wasn't ready, then she certainly wouldn't make her fight the gym yet. Even if she herself felt powerful enough. Kalula turned, noticing Tatetops and Fel were having trouble keeping up, and promptly returned them, leaving her with her two most loyal Pokemon at her side. She watched as her Absol's ruby gaze flicked from one part of the underbrush to the next, but frowned when he seemed to give up after a while, placing a hand against his soft, snow white fur.
"It's okay boy, if we just keep following the bits of scorched grass, we'll find it eventually. You don't see too many Ponyta in Pinwheel forest!" That was the thing about Kalula, she was always so optimistic, even when the situation was sort of bleak. Like right now. Hundreds of yard of forest, and one Ponyta. It almost made Kleo wish that Kalula would just give up and ask Garett if he would teach her how to ride a Ponyta. But...thinking about Garett's track record of doing reckless things, she nodded again. almost, made her wish Kalula had asked him. Either way, it seemed they'd be out here for a long while, searching for a Ponyta that might have been long gone by now.
