Aphrodite didn't trust many people. She never had. But inviting Hanson in on her little excursion through Kalos had been her own idea and had been an attempt at being civil. For the first time in forever she'd forced her hair up into a ponytail and dressed far more casually - she'd even left her sword at home, which, for those who knew her, showed that she was making an effort to be subtle.
"Kalos has been safe from us for a while." She mused as she ran her hand along the side of the castle. It had long since been inhabited, unlike the Palace she had visited prior to Shabboneau Castle. "We have been plotting the overthrowing of the league in Sinnoh for months now and haven't unleashed storms. I'm honestly not sure if it's a good idea to let any storms free in the region though." As much as it seemed like she was musing to herself, the co-leader of the Knights of Arceus was attempting to gauge the level of interest this young man had in their group.
Like a few small numbers, Hanson had been elected into an admin position within the Knights. He held power, much more than any old grunt did, and that meant that, apparently, Aphrodite could trust him. With all the goings on she had to deal with the rest of the time, and the constant flip-flopping of people's opinions, she barely had time to judge her own immediate circle, but upon hearing how very little they actually knew of this other admin's past, she had decided he was worthy of her time.
"So, Hanson." She arched an eyebrow smugly at him, turning to lean her back against the stone of the wall. "Now you get to be involved in the inner workings of the Knights. How's that feel?"
