So here I'm going to post some of my weird little writing things. I've been a bit museless so I've been writing drabbles the past couple of days to get my creative juices flowing. Feel free to comment and what have you, or request something for a couple you like. xD Sometimes I get dark, other times I do humour. It really depends on how I'm feeling so yay! Let's do this, I guess?

Steven & Platinum - Ringshipping
"You must stop fussing, Steven." Platinum said, attempting somewhat badly to keep the amusement out of her voice. For months upon months, she had been working from home, writing the contracts and signing the documents she had been sent. Upon the doctors orders, the pregnant heiress - or rather, chief executive officer now - had been told that too much travel was not good for her rather small frame. She had done as she was instructed and worked from the office inside their spacious home. She didn't like it, but it was definitely important that she kept working so she had done it in the only way she would be allowed. It didn't help that her mother was constantly bothering her about the safety of the child, either.
From across the room, Steven glanced at his wife. He, like her mother, had been concerned for her health. For years prior to her falling pregnant their parents had worried over the fact that the very influential pair had not conceived and had been hassling them to try - though, in Steven's defense, he had been uncomfortable with the age difference and despite the marriage of convenience, respected the younger woman too much to push - and now that they baby had come there was rather a strange silence.
The little girl slept peacefully in her bassinet, and Platinum looked rather worse-for-wear. Her tiny body had not handled the tolls of pregnancy as well as some, but she was pleased and there was a light in her eyes that told the truth of how proud she was to have made it through the rough time. "I am perfectly well, as is Bijou. She sleeps soundly, so if you continue pacing all you will do is a wear a hole in the rug, and considering that it is Persian, I would rather you calm down."
The stone enthusiast blinked, somewhat shocked that he had been pacing quite as much as he had, and finally took a seat in the comfortable looking armchair nearest the baby. He wasn't sure what to do with a child, especially not one so small, but he supposed that they would learn together. He could not help but fret when he saw how worn Platinum looked, knowing how she wanted to return to her work as soon as she was able. It would be too hard for him to cope with both families without her.
"I know you never really wanted this with me. I can't help but feel like I'm the reason you're not in top condition for whatever it is you decide to do from here." He said, running a ringed hand through silvery hair. Arceus, was he glad that his daughter hadn't inherited his hair colour.
"Perhaps we are not in love as some couples are, Steven." Platinum spoke, and he opened his eyes to see her own not far from his face. There was a warmth in them, and she reached to place her hand over his. "But I would rather be married to someone I can trust and whom I know genuinely cares for my well being than anyone else. I am still your greatest fan, as I was when you took the title of league champion, and I am happy that we have had a beautiful, healthy daughter. Perhaps we are not a story of true love, but I am content to be with you."
He looked up, slightly bemused, as the younger of the pair leaned forward to press her lips to his forehead. "Do not stay up too late. I expect to see you in bed before midnight." Platinum murmured as she stepped away, lifting the baby from her crib and leaving the room.
Indeed, Steven thought. Perhaps they weren't a tale of undying love, but he could say he was happy, and that he loved their daughter very much. Perhaps someday they would love one-another, too.

Mei & Hugh - Sequelshipping
Fighting an oncoming enemy was hard at the best of times. It was made even harder when the enemy seemed to have been made up of an unlimited number of resources and staffing. The pair had, like all the other Pokedex Holders, been focused on the task at hand, but it had been a long and tough few days for all of them. Many battles, one after the other, had been their life for those days. Stealing bites of a few chocolate bars - they had not expected the battling to go on this long, they had not expected to feel their entire bodies crumbling under the pressure of protecting a region from an army of trainers.
Beside her, Mei could feel the tension in her friend’s demeanor. Hugh wanted this over as much as she did, they wanted to be safe from the threat of an attacking army. Like she and her own Pokemon, Hugh and his were tiring, bending under the exhaustion that they had been fighting for days. They struggled to push through move after move, fighting on against those who would attack their home.
The young girl reached out a hand to her friend and they stood, united against their foes for whatever else was to come. United in just a moment.
Hope sparked in Mei’s heart as she was reminded physically of her companion’s proximity and his shared strength. Her team felt the joy that spread through her, sensing her newfound belief. They fed off it, a renewed energy pushing them forward with every attack and every block they made. A reflect here, a light screen there, they blocked any move that threatened their trainer and her friend, exhausted but pushing on for the love of their leader.
Hugh too, felt the surge of energy from his friend’s closeness, giving him more reason to keep fighting. To make up for the Pokemon she had stolen from her, to defeat those who were making the world a much less wonderful place to live. He had much to live for, had much to protect, and the smaller hand in his own was a manifestation of one of those things.
In a split second of broken concentration on both their behalves, the pair glanced at one another, crimson eyes meeting blue in an unspoken moment of friendship and togetherness. Mei smiled and Hugh could not help but do the same, her warmth having lightened his own hope. Their smiles, however, were fleeting, as a screen that pierced through their minds and sent every present Pokemon cowering snapped them out of their connection.
With time only enough to look up and see the God pokemon himself, light erupted from Arceus. With milliseconds before their destruction, Mei threw her arms around her lifelong friend and kissed him with all the feeling she could muster, muttering into his lips only, “I love-” before they, and the rest of the battlefield, went still.

Red & Yellow - Bizarre Specialshipping TW: Blood / TW: Death / TW: Murder / TW: Yandere Yellow
He woke up to a stabbing pain, that Champion of the Pokemon League. The star battler of the Pokedex Holders. He didn’t know what had hit him, really, he had been in bed and now he was laying on his stomach, unable to move and yet, there was a pain in his shoulder that he couldn’t explain. And was that blood on the sheets? It felt wet beneath his shirt, but he couldn’t tell, there was too much pain to truly know what was going on. Red shifted his eyes sideways in an attempt to see in the dark and there, by the window of their small apartment, was the softly illuminated image of his girlfriend.
The peaceful, gentle Yellow stood in the light of the moon, watching him with sweet, affectionate eyes. And yet, by one side of her body, a knife was held. A blade dripping with what he could only imagine was the same wetness that was dripping down his arm and into the sheets. What was she doing with that? He blinked dumbly, unable to speak for the pain and confusion that was there. Obviously she hadn’t stabbed him, she was too gentle, too sweet for that. She had been his fan for years. Yellow would never have sunk a blade into his shoulder. Surely not.
And yet, standing there, unhelping, the girl waited. She watched her boyfriend with a confused and yet still adoring smile on her face, wondering why he hadn’t attempted to move from the bed. Yellow hadn’t really meant to kill him - she hadn’t even really intended to stab him - but then, he had been so irritating through the night, what with the cuddles and the sleep talking about Team Rocket. She had just wanted to sleep. Well, she supposed, she would be able to get some sleep now if he died. But then she might also be arrested.
Somewhere in her mind she was amused by the fact that her healing worked so well on Pokemon, but she didn’t even bother to try on her long-time partner. She just watched him as he began to go limp in their shared bed, then turned and pulled down the blind on their window before returning to her own position and laying down to rest.

Green & Blue - Oldrivalshipping
They argued a lot. It had always been part of what had made them work as a couple. They argued and they made up, but were both equally strong parts of the whole. Unfortunately their equally strong parts were also the cause of most of the fights. Blue liked to have her own way, she liked to dictate the location, time and information about their dates but Green always found himself uncomfortable in her choices for fancy restaurants and their taste in movies somewhat varied. Every time he would pay without asking, and would find himself pretending to enjoy their outings despite wanting to press his face into a meat grinder when he watched movies like “Gone with the Drifblim” and “How to lose a Luvdisc” because they were so.. unrealistic.
Especially in comparison to them as a couple.
On one such evening, Green had found himself staring at Blue in mild annoyance as she picked out another sappy lovestory - and their arguing had yet to have been resolved from an earlier spat. With an annoyed growl, the gym leader glared at the back of the girl’s head and said flatly, for the first time ever, “I refuse to watch this.”
Blue rounded on him, absolutely fuming. Normally radiant eyes were narrowed to slits and she put her hands on her hips indignantly. “What do you mean you refuse? This is date night, this is what we’re seeing.” She hissed, not wanting the desk clerk to hear their conversation. Green raised an eyebrow and pocketed his wallet, turning and walking away from the counter as if the conversation were already over. Blue, horrified, followed after him, this time speaking more insistently. “What do you mean you refuse? You’ve always seen what I wanted to see other times?”
With a frown and a slightly pained look, Green shook his head. “I never refuse because you’re an insufferable muk when you don’t get your way. I’m sorry, but I don’t enjoy them and I’m not paying good money to watch two people fall in love, have an argument and then live happily ever after. I want battles, I want effects and I want some real talent in a movie. If I wanted a love story I’d just look at us.”
Blue looked bewildered for a second, about to fume until she mulled over his words. “Do mine ears deceive me or did you just say you love me?” She asked with a mischievous grin, the gym leader suddenly frightened and trying to go over his words. A tinge of pink flushed on his nose and cheeks and he shook his head to turn away.
"Pesky girl." He muttered, walking out of the cinema. Blue followed closely, snickering all the while.
She was by no means the prettiest girl - or even the prettiest gym leader, for that matter - in Unova. Roxie had spent her life slightly more jagged and sharply than the other girls she had seen become leaders, and she felt herself pleased with the fact that despite all that, there was one challenger who preferred her over all of the gorgeous girls their home region could offer.
She had met him early in his journey as a trainer. When he had defeated her to gain his second badge. Her poison types had unfortunately proven no match for his varied types, but she still held the memory fondly of the determination in his eyes, and the sounds chorusing from his friends cheering him on in the background.
Her fingers strummed aimlessly at the disconnected electric guitar she was so prone to touching, and she began to piece together the beginnings of a song when she heard the door burst open with enthusiasm. Light spewed into her dingy little gym from the daytime outside, and she frowned momentarily until the unruly mop of hair she knew to belong to that special someone who always came back to her.
"Idiot, don't you know it's rude to barge in here without an invitation! What if I was seducing someone with my voice, huh!?" She half-shouted as she swung the guitar around on it's strap, putting a hand on each of her hips. She instantly saw him shrivel, and felt a sense of fulfilment from the fact that she could make him cower. And even still, he liked her. Kyouhei looked sheepish from where he stood, dumbfounded at the door.
He had been visiting her regularly for a few years, since his defeat of the Elite Four. It was an understatement to say he was intimidated by her, but at the same time she had a sense of sweetness that lay just beneath the surface. Just enough that if you bit down-- "Hey, pervert! I know that look, so snap out of it right now!" She ordered, suddenly behind him. How did she get there, he wondered. Had he really zoned out that far?
Turning on the spot, Kyouhei snaked his arm around her waist, using her own guitar as a method of keeping her still as his lips met the skin beneath her ear. "Aw, come on Rox. I came all the way here to see you and you're gonna growl at me?" He laughed, feeling her snicker against him.
"Only if you keep being a damned pervert. I tell you what you get to do to me." She smirked, slipping out of his arms and moving to close the gym door. "First you need to tell me how Sinnoh was, though." Roxie grinned, pushing the poor bewildered boy over to one of the chairs. The fun could come later.

Sequelshipping Fluffy hyuumei stuff for me because I accidentally wanted to write it. It's crappy. Read at your own peril.
It had been a very warm few days in Aspertia. Warm enough that people were using their water pokemon to create little themed parks in their front yards and the children were all running between them in order to keep cool. Mei, Hugh and Kyouhei had been travelling to the beach to keep cool during the sunny days, the brunette pair always in the water with the blue-haired boy not far away. But Kyouhei was busy on this particular afternoon and Mei did not feel like swimming on her own, and so, she had grabbed Hugh and decided they would walk down to the corner store and collect some ice-cream before kicking back in one of their nice, air-conditioned houses.
Staring into the freezer, Mei was trying desperately to decide exactly which icecream she wanted. There were many options before her and she could barely decide between them. Picking out a chocolate-with-chocolate flavour, she waited for Hugh to pick his own. Rather than a traditionally sweet icecream, he chose a blueberry with a hint of sourness, much more to his preference than something so completely sugary. The girl swept him up and attempted to pay but was ushered away by his hand. With a nose wrinkle on her part, she and Hugh began the trek home.
For once there was no idle chatter on the part of Mei as her lips were locked around the chocolate treat. Hugh's eyes flicked down to the much shorter girl as he ate his own icecream - much more conservatively than the girl who was clearly being far less concerned with her appearance. With a smear of chocolate on her cheek as she licked, she looked more like a five year old than a girl of eighteen - but either way, she was perfectly comfortable with her own excitement.
As she caught her friend looking down at her however, she stopped and turned bright pink. "What?" She asked, a hint of that embarrassment seeping through in her words. Hugh had barely realised he'd been staring, and froze when he realised exactly why.
"Nothing." He grumbled in response, and she blinked up at him. Withering under his gaze, her own popsicle slid out of her grip and onto the pavement. She looked briefly miserable before rounding on her friend. He had been the cause of her loss-of-icecream. "Well if there's nothing then let me have a taste of your icecream!" Mei said, her eyes twinkling with amusement. Her own finished, she decided his was looking quite appealing.
Mildly amused that she was only now interested in his icecream, the much taller of the pair raised his icecream up to the level of his face and shook his head. "You won't like it." Pouting, Mei stood on her toes and attempted to reach for the treat but he raised his arm higher to keep it out of her reach.
"Huey!" She grumbled, before a wicked smile sprang across her lips. With determination saved only for the occasional rare moment of clarity, she stood on her toes again and pulled his lips down to meet her own.
The couple paused there, in the middle of the street, Hugh's eyes widened in shock until they closed to appreciate the moment. His hand lost grip on the icecream and with little care, he began to move it toward her shoulder. Before that happened, however, the brunette pulled away with a sudden shout of "Blegh!"
Slightly horrified at the reaction, Hugh looked confusedly at Mei who was wiping her lips and pulling a rather hideous face. "Why would you have sour icecream!" He blinked again, and their lips met again briefly before he wrapped an arm around her shoulder and directed her back towards the store. "Let's go get another. This time I won't let you drop it."
From nearby, a wicked little giggle exploded from Hugh's little sister, who began to shake the polaroid she had captured in glee. Oh yes, this was wonderful photographic evidence indeed.
