Johto was a new experience for someone like Mei. Growing up in a modern-driven region like Unova, it was strangely soothing to walk the quiet towns of the far more traditionally motivated Johto. Though many of the cities had been flattened, they had begun to start taking new shape around the temples and other earthquake-resistant buildings. It was strange and fascinating to watch the construction proess. So very different from the cranes and cement mixers she saw around her home. Machoke and Machamp were everywhere, building things from the ground up. The brunette doubted that without the Pokemon's help, people from Johto would be getting anywhere near as much done.
With a smile, she walked through Azalea Town, passing the Slowpoke well and making note to come back to it for exploration. Mei's overall mission was to find willing trainers to participate in the battles to stop the Knights. As much as she had initially hoped that this group would be easy for them to take out - that a couple of young people might be able to topple them the way they had the other 'teams' that had plagued the world - but that was clearly not the case this time. They needed a far more significant force to do any damage whatsoever to the vicious organisation.
The Knights did, after all, have Arceus unwillingly on their side. The heroes would need a much greater number and a greater strength - one they did not have yet - to face the evil-doers and win. They needed those recruits.
Johto had been an obvious choice for recruiting simply because it had been the most affected region. People would be wanting justice for unreasonable deaths, and would be seeking closure for their fallen homes. And, if they could gather enough troops in Johto, the other lesser affected regions may follow suit and stand united.
For all their differences, they were one world. They had to work together if they wanted to get anything at all done.
With a skip in her step, Mei explored the town, eager to gain support from the people, but also to learn about the different culture that the small town provided. If she was correct, it was the town of the Bug Leader in Johto. She herself had fought (and won) against Burgh, whom had trained the crawly type. Shuddering, the girl made note to keep her eye out for bug Pokemon wandering around. Even to this day she remained frightened by the creepy-crawly Pokemon. And Johto was the native home to Spinarak which were the worst bug Pokemon of all. They couldn't get much worse when it came to bug types, not much worse at all.
Speaking of - she heard a scuttling and suddenly the dark, tree-surrounded traditional town wasn't so interesting. In fact, she had goosebumps all over her arms thinking about hte possibility of a naughty bug jumping out at her. Mei froze in place, suddenly paranoid about exactly such a thing and with a high pitched squeal, she clenched her fists in terror of the imaginary bug.
What was she going to do? "Yuck yuck yuck!"

Tenma swung his leg, sending a stray pebble scuttling across the dirt. The leaves rustled as the pebble charged past, disturbing the otherwise tranquil air.
The boy sighed, shoving his hands deep into the comfort of his pockets. Azalea Town was a great place, but if he was going to find another Spinarak crawling up his back, he was going to flip a load. The thought sent ghastly shivers down his spine.
He adjusted the blue beret atop his head and continued to walk. Ever since he’d run away from home, it had been peaceful, but . . . there was still that void that felt so prominent in his heart. It was so empty that he could feel it there. He wanted somebody to walk beside and talk to. He needed a friend.
He eyed the Xtransceiver that still wrapped itself around his left wrist, clasped tight. He thought about Mei, and how hurt she must’ve been when she realized that he’d run away. If only he could tell her what was going on. . . .
A voice interrupted his thoughts, pulling him out of his dreamy reverie. The voice was familiar, and Tenma couldn’t help but feel hopeful. Taking a slow, deep breath, he steeled himself and emerged from the brush.
Mei was standing there, a dazzling flower in a patch of weeds. He couldn’t believe his eyes, but it was real. It had been so long. His heart began to accelerate as his breathing quickened, fast and uneven. So many questions bounced around in his mind. He couldn’t slow down. What was she doing here? Was she lost? Training trip?
Was she looking for him?
The possibility caused a warm smile to spread across his face. It was so unlikely, but the chance was there, and it made his heart melt.
Soon, his rationality came back, and he drew in a sharp breath as he realized what he was doing. Nobody was supposed to know about his whereabouts.
“Ah—!” He gasped, taking a step backward. The world shot up from under him as he fell on his tender rump, having tripped over a stray root. His face was flushed bright red, and it looked like he was about to explode.
Without thinking twice, he turned and charged through the foliage. He needed to get out of there.

Panicking was easy to do when you were almost entirely sure one of your worst nightmares was lingering just around the corner waiting to pounce on you. She was trembling, being generally afraid of everything while she was paralysed when the sound grew closer and she looked up in the direction, ready to scream at the top of her lungs and throw a shoe or something equally as idiotic but she was shocked to see a face pop out in front of her.
As quickly as it was there it was gone, however, and Mei had to stop and think. The face was dreadfully familiar to her, and the quick glance barely gave her a second to stop and think about it. Registering faster than she had expected, it was the sound of his voice and his exclamation that really set it in stone for her. It was her cute little friend from the X-Transceiver. Ever since they had been communicating she had thought he was adorable and that voice could belong to no one else!
Shocked out of her fear of creepy crawlies, Mei took off after him in a hurry. But why was he running, weren't they friends? She had always thought so, considering they had been communicating for a while now. With a slight pout on ppretty pink lips she pushed her way through the brush, flinching only a little when a flinging branch caught her cheek and left a little drop of blood rising to the surface.
"Tenma? It's you isn't it?! Where are you going?" She called out as she gave chase, before she knew exactly where he was by the sight of a cute blue beret.
Throwing herself forwards in an attempt to wrap her arm around his own and catch him, Mei was flushed in the cheeks from running. "What are you doing running away from me?!" She grumbled, brunette hair looking a little dishevelled from battling the stray branches.

Mei’s sweet voice called out after him, imbued with concern. It was followed by a protest of slight irritation, much to Tenma’s despair. He hated disappointing people, and disappointing Mei was like slapping him in the face and kicking him in the gut.
He knew he couldn’t run forever, however, and once he’d remembered hearing of Mei’s fear of insect Pokémon. That kind was abundant in the forests of Azalea, and he couldn’t help it when his pace decelerated.
His blue beret was falling off his head, and he was already panting, having exerted much more effort into running than he thought he did. He caught himself leaning on the trunk of a large tree, one hand holding him steady on the rough bark.
He didn’t know what he was supposed to do now—Mei knew it was him, and even though that was supposed to be a bad thing, he swelled with happiness. But he had to apologize for running away at first sight. Maybe he’d be able to explain his situation, and she’d understand.
He whirled around on the balls of his feet, standing erect while wiping away a bead of sweat from his brow. He was still breathing hard, but he didn’t realize a goofy grin had spread across his face as Mei caught up with him. “Mei. . . .”

Mei was a little hurt, she would admit, that Tenma really didn't seem to want her to catch up to him. Thankfully she had been following after Hugh and Kyouhei her entire life and thus the idea of chasing after a boy wasn't a new subject to her. She could keep up, she was sure of it, especially when she noticed his pace begin to slow and his hand reach out to brace on a nearby tree. Success! She could catch him here.
The fact that they were so close to the forest didn't elude her, and the brunette was thankful he hadn't quite made it to the Ilex Forest before his pace had dropped. There was too many bugs there for her, too many indeed. Her friend looked dishevelled and Mei was not pleased to see him thus but the fact remained that she was certain he had seen her. Why had he run?
Was that the reason he hadn't called or spoken to her in a while? It seemed like many of her male friends took to avoiding her after a short while. She wondered if he had disappeared off to train as Hugh had, and she let her lower lip jut out a little in a soft and childish pout as she finally approached him.
He was grinning - had he just wanted to tease her? Hands shot up to her hips and her pout worsened as she stopped in front of him and looked confused. "Don't Mei me, why were you running? I didn't think my face was that terrifying." She grumbled, her hands quickly dropping from her slightly irritated pose to dangle uselessly at her side as she let bright blue eyes search his.
"I even called out to you and you kept running away. Meanie." She was half-grumbling, but had eased up slightly the more he grinned at her. How come he had to be adorable and smile? Boys were so confusing!
Post by TENMA KUROSAWA on Sept 3, 2013 1:02:25 GMT 9.5
The inappropriate grin was wiped off his face, which was turning red with abasement at breakneck speed. He looked down to cover up his shame and blatant lack of masculinity at the moment.
“No way, your face isn’t terrifying at all! I—I, um . . . I'm sorry,” he said, eyes trailing the dirt collecting around his sneakers. He looked up at Mei’s face again, and after shaking off the magical spell she seemed to place on him every time their eyes locked, he wondered if he could confide in her. She seemed hurt.
His face must’ve been an expressive amalgamation of confusion, pain, wonder and loneliness. To his horror, he was hiding back tears. He knew that if he blinked, the tears would fall.
Whirling around, he wiped his face with a sleeve and let out a shuddering sigh. He needed to tell her. He couldn’t go on with the way he was. It wasn’t healthy.
“It's because, well, things . . . happened. Personal things,” he said, still turned around, boring holes into the tree in front of him. “You’ll listen . . . right? And keep it a secret?”
Post by MEI MORIMOTO on Sept 3, 2013 8:28:04 GMT 9.5
"All right.." Mei gave her friend a slightly doubtful look as his grin disappeared and she was left looking at someone who was both bashful and ashamed. She hadn't really meant to upset him by asking, but he did seem genuinely apologetic and so the brunette approached a little closer as she caught the look of glistening eyes. He wasn't that upset, was he? Was something really wrong?
Pigtails bounced as she hurried over - the expressions his face was running through put some concern into her and she decided she'd let the fact that he had run away from her go because he seemed both sorry and genuinely worried by something. When he turned away again, Mei was about to grab him to remind him not to run away again when he began to explain his reasoning.
Mei was a loving person at the best of times. She adored her friends and hated to see them sad more than anything, and though she could have sworn that he wiped his eyes, she decided to leave it be and focus on the matter at hand.
"Of course I'll listen, silly." She cooed, reaching for his shoulder and touching it lightly. He might have been making intense eye-contact with the tree but there was nothing like a good hug to perk you up when you were down. And once he had explained, she planned to give him one. If for no other reason than that she hadn't seen her friend in a while.
"I'm excellent at keeping secrets, you know. And if it's why we haven't been able to talk in a while, of course I want to know. I miss seeing your smiley face on my x-transceiver, you know." There, that would get whatever was wrong out of him.

Tenma chuckled through his tears, too happy that Mei was there to listen to worry about how his voice broke mid-laugh, sounding like a one-winged dove spiraling to its death.
Boys didn’t cry. It was an unspoken rule that should never be broken, and Tenma was spectacularly shattering it into a thousand pieces. It was bad enough that his masculinity, without the tears streaming down his face, was transient.
He wiped his eyes with his sleeve, sniffling in the silence as Mei stood waiting for him to regain his calm. When he turned around, the stains left by the tears were as prominent as scars, enhanced by round, puffy eyes. Undecidedly unmanly.
“I . . . ran,” he said, twining his fingers together in a lace in front of him. After a brief, wobbly sigh, he continued, “From Nimbasa City. I couldn’t do it anymore.”
He winced at his voice. If it could be a person, it would be a trembling newborn kid with no control over its legs, not the sparkling, smiling boy that Mei wanted him to be. Red crept up his neck, called upon by shame and embarrassment, and he caught his breath for Mei’s answer.
Post by MEI MORIMOTO on Oct 27, 2013 17:47:05 GMT 9.5
Mei couldn't lie and say that she wasn't worried. He had been running from her and he was one of her closest friends. Especially recently. Recently he had been there to call her on her X-transceiver and just talk. His smiling, blushing face was definitely one she enjoyed seeing but he looked so sad standing there that she wanted to rush over and hug him.
Wincing along with him for his crackling voice, she walked over to him and squeezed his arm gently. "I don't blame you, it must have been so busy and hard for you. You work so much!" She gave his arm another gentle squeeze before she threw her arms around him in one of her 'healing hugs' - a loving and adoring hug that would have to melt his sadness. At least, that was what she was hoping.
"I won't tell anyone that you're here though, I promise. I'll keep your secret -- but you'll keep in contact with me, right? I missed talking to you while you were gone. Can we still talk? Can we can we?" She muttered as she released him, stepping back. Mei gave him the grace to have a crackling voice without comment or mention. He was being strong by telling her that he couldn't cope, and as his friend she had to keep his secret.
"I could even give you a new look to hide you, I mean, I'll miss hearing you perform and stuff, but if it's better for you I'd definitely want to take care of you first, okay? So don't hide from me. I'll be really good at keeping your secret!" Mei spoke emphatically, bouncing on the spot and half-pouting at him. She only hoped that in his need to hide from fame and fortune, they could still be friends.
After all, who else would she talk to when she just needed someone to make her smile?
Post by TENMA KUROSAWA on Oct 28, 2013 10:29:35 GMT 9.5
“We can still talk,” he mumbled, burying his face into Mei’s neck. The red had spread throughout the entirety of his body, and he didn’t want Mei to bear witness to the simmering-with-flustered-pleasure expression that had asserted dominance over the others.
Mei released Tenma from her hug, leaving Tenma feeling hollow and vapid; the odd calm that came after all your tears had fallen intermingling with the sudden loss of Mei’s warmth. Tenma had to furl his hands into white-knuckled fists to keep him from reaching out and pulling her in for a second cuddle.
No more crying, he thought to himself. I can make it through the rest of the day without crying. I can. I hope.
He didn’t have the confidence to speak without his voice cracking with the thread of sobs, however, so he stared at the tangle of roots that seemed to crawl around his legs, as if poised to lash out and bring him back down to the ground. In front of the girl he found cute, no less.
Finally, when he looked up, the corners of his lips lifted into a strained smile. “Makeover?” he asked hopefully.

"Well I'm definitely happy to hear that, Tenny!" And with that, he was within her inner circle. The people who were graced with a childish but very affectionate nickname from Mei were the people she considered her closest friends and having heard him confess one of his secrets the brunette knew that she wanted to keep him close and protect him from his troubles. The world was yucky enough, he didn't need to have people hassling him too. Mei would protect him, whatever the cost.
Her eyes were shining with a smile as she watched him and gently nudged him with her side as she reached for his hand. "Come with me, Tenny, we're going to walk and we're going to talk while we do so. It'll make you feel better and we can try to figure out where we're going!" She grinned with another tug on his arm, glancing to the side at him as she tried to consider out how she could change him in order to make him appear a different person and be able to sneak around their home region more easily without being recognised on every street corner.
"We could always make you look like my adorable brother. We could be twins! I could get you some blue contact lenses and we could dye your hair brown. Would you like that? I could tell everyone you had been off with my dad for a long time.. I mean, I'm sure Hugh and Kyouhei would realise, but they'd keep our secret too, I'm sure. How does being my brother sound?" Unfortunately Mei did not realise the more-than-platonic feelings that her adorable friend possessed for her, so did not stop to consider that he might not want to appear as her brother.
Her paranoia about bugs had since passed with his revelations, so the teenager bustled through the trees with a new-found rigor. She would help Tenma. She would help him good!
Post by TENMA KUROSAWA on Nov 3, 2013 6:32:24 GMT 9.5
“They say those kinds of contact lenses hurt your eyes,” said Tenma, trying to ease them into the realm of casual conversation. He was feeling the scraps of his pride returning with the lightening shade of red on his cheeks. The red eyes would stay for a while, though. “I can probably dye my hair, though.”
Tenma, bereft of warmth and a husk of the man-child he was supposed to be, laced his fingers with Mei’s and felt a rush of security and happiness. There, he decided that Mei would be his safe place, his confidant, his shining pillar of moral support—if Mei was okay with that, but he wasn’t about to ask just yet. He just wanted to savor the moment.
So, while his hand settled into hers, he worked on steadying his erratic heart, thrumming like a bird’s against his chest. He wasn’t particularly upset at the feeling, though.
“I . . . ,” he started, but cut himself off mid-sentence. Who was he to decide how Mei looked at him? Agreeing to both prospects, he said: “No, that’s fine.”
And then, stepping over a decomposing log and crunching down on a dry twig, he said, “Wait, who . . . ?”
Post by MEI MORIMOTO on Nov 4, 2013 21:17:57 GMT 9.5
As much as Mei wanted to protect him, she didn't want him hurting because of her idea and so she nodded in a strange attempt at sagely, more looking like a comical girl attempting to be wise. "Alright, no contacts. Well, I don't think we can be twins then if we don't change your eyes, but we can always dye your hair any colour. What about like.. bright red!" She giggled as she tried to imagine her friend with shocking red hair.
It cast the idea of him being one of Roxie's band into her mind, and all she could do was giggle furiously at the thought. "Girls would be lining up for Rockstar Tenma instead of Idol Tetsu! Maybe not the best idea if we're trying to hide you though.. Let's see..."
Her voice trailed off gently as she thought about all her different options, and blinked up as he looked confused. "Hugh and Kyouhei? Oh, haven't I told you about them? They're my other best friends than you, Tenny! They've protected and taken care of me my whole life. We all grew up together in Aspertia, then when we went on our journey we were all rivals and companions! Isn't that great?" Her eyes shone just thinking about her close friends and she squeezed his hand gently, hopping over the log after him and squishing up against his side in a half-lean for a few moments before continuing onwards.
"I'll have to get you to meet them, cause they're really important to me, you see.." She flushed slightly, glancing down at their hands. "And I want all the people who are important to me to get to know one another, but I promise, they would never ever tell your secret. I'd beat them up!" Mei could only hope that Tenma would be agreeable. If she was travelling with someone new on a regular basis, she couldn't just outright lie to them.
Kyouhei and Hugh would know she was being untruthful and then they would be mad at her, so she just hoped Tenma could take her word for their trustworthiness.
Post by TENMA KUROSAWA on Nov 8, 2013 13:03:13 GMT 9.5
Tenma humored Mei with a complicated series of half-smiles and well-timed nods. When he wasn’t dropping a saccharine comment with the subtlety of a landslide, or burning a fervent red as he attempted to smoothen out a trip of the tongue, he was listening, rapt from relief. He enjoyed Mei’s chatter; it filled the air, rustled the leaves, calmed his thoughts, and excused Tenma from the horror of speech.
It seemed that his body was paying attention. When Mei squeezed his hand, he’d automatically squeezed back. It felt like an electric shock had run through the two of them, and it left Tenma sizzling and crisp. He cast a sideways glance at Mei, wondering if she felt the same way as he.
“If you trust them,” he murmured, “then I’m okay.” It was a white lie, but his lips still twitched, threatening to curl down. He really wanted her two companions to have nothing to do with his situation, but he hadn’t wanted to disappoint Mei, so he obliged.
“So,” he said, his confidence slowly gathering with the recede of his dry throat. “What’s going on with you?” As he spoke, he slowed; a walk in the rain-slicked forest, with the sun filtering through the luscious canopy, didn’t sound like such a bad idea.
Post by MEI MORIMOTO on Nov 9, 2013 14:15:55 GMT 9.5
The gentle squeeze back on her hand was enough to reassure Mei in her ramblings. Sometimes she did worry that she talked too much for people, but Tenma seemed not to mind too much. That was nice in itself, he seemed so much happier to listen to her and stand by her side. Hugh and Kyouhei were very giving friends, but often she felt like she was slowing them down. At least with Tenma she could feel like she was at the same page.
"I'm really sorry that you had to go through all that, Tenny. You could have told me though, really. And I won't really have to tell Hugh and Kyouhei unless you meet them, so you don't have to worry about that for a while yet I'm sure." She nudged his side with her arm, giggling softly as she leant against him to match his now slower pace.
It was nice to just walk, now that she was distracted enough to not think about the tonnes of bug pokemon that were strewn through the branches. Tenma was good company, and snuggling up beside him was easy. "What's going on with me.." Well, a lot, if she was honest, but she thought about everything and just tugged him along.
"The makeover can wait a bit till we've had a chat.. Honestly there's been a lot happening. My two best friends came home from their travels, which is nice in itself. I missed them both terribly." Mei wrapped her arm around his, resting her cheek against his shoulder as she explained. "And.. with all that's been happening lately, I wanted to know who was behind all the storms. I did some investigating.. and I got caught."
It was the nicest way she knew to describe it. "Hugh came and rescued me, but I've only just really gotten to the point where I could travel again, so it's nice to be able to leave Aspertia.. I was a bit sorry for myself for a while, but I'm glad to be out. It's even better that I got to see you on my first visit back here." Her smile grew a little and she half-shrugged against him. "I've been training lots too, especially now Kyouhei is back. I want to beat him, just once."
Post by TENMA KUROSAWA on Nov 19, 2013 11:15:38 GMT 9.5
“You got what?” Tenma would have done a double take, if not for the fact that Mei’s arms were coiled around his own like a snake, and if not for the fact that he wanted to relish in the warm, pastel-coloured moment of his heart pulsing against her. But his body was as rigid as a board of plank wood.
And, before he could fret and worry and fuss, Mei had explained that Hugh—the shining paradigm; the superhero; he of many attractive qualities—had saved her, and that she had recovered from the ordeal. Hugh, Hugh, Hugh. And Kyouhei.
Tenma bit his lower lip. His enthusiasm was like running water, and it was currently running down the drain for Mei. He wondered briefly if the parts that monitored her self-preservation were functioning properly.
“Mei . . . ,” he said, but he couldn’t say anything else to express the cacophony whirling inside him, so he trailed off with a lofty sigh. He couldn’t say anything. She was the better trainer out of the pair of them, and he didn’t want to remind Mei of the fact.
But he couldn’t just drop it. He squeezed her hand a little more tightly, and said, “Could you . . . please, at least, exercise a little more caution for your safety? If not for the good of people, think about the people who love and care for you.” He included himself at the top of this list of said people.
Post by MEI MORIMOTO on Nov 21, 2013 13:56:25 GMT 9.5
The stiffness did not go unregistered to the girl clinging to his arm, and Mei felt incredibly flustered by the fact that he seemed so worried. She didn't like to tell people, but she figured that people as close to her as she considered Tenma ought to know by her rather than finding out at an inopportune moment when she would have to explain at an awkward time. "It wasn't like I tried to get captured.. they took my Pokemon and everything, so I couldn't get out at all! It's really all okay now though, I'm not even hurt anymore!"
Unfortunately, when it came to the self-preservation parts, as he so aptly thought, they often weren't running as well as they ought to be. Too trusting, too easy to manipulate and far too gullible, she was unfortunately the perfect target for those looking to trap someone. As just and as good as she was, she was equal parts blind to the darkness that could be inside of people. Unless they were blunt about it, evil tended to avoid her gaze.
Her name on his lips made her flush with embarrassment and she looked down. She was incredibly glad that Hugh had rescued her. If he hadn't she'd likely still be trapped and Pokemonless. She wasn't keen to have it happen again, that was for sure. "I do try to be careful, really. I just forget sometimes, and people are hard to read." Mei squirmed as he squeezed her hand, lacing her fingers through his and looking shame-facedly at the ground. "I was only trying to find out what was going on so I could protect the people who I love and care for too.. I'm sorry if I made you upset by telling you."
She wiggled a little, glancing up at him with big blue eyes begging for forgiveness for her own silliness, and she squeezed his arm a little tighter. "Besides, I have you and Hugh and Kyouhei to protect me and I'm trying to be better and telling when people aren't being truthful, it's just really hard sometimes. If you're around you can help me guess better." Mei grinned, giving him a hopeful look that begged he not hang around in Johto away from she and their home for too long.

“Nobody tries to get captured, Mei,” replied Tenma. “Unless you’re a well-trained spy with a healthy sense of caution. Which you aren’t.” The tone of his voice was teasing, bordering on the teensy-tiny bit irritated. He squeezed her hand again—their relationship could run a mile on just heart-fueled squeezes. It was almost enough for Tenma. “Be careful. Super careful. Please?”
He paused. “For me, at least? I’m not as good a battler as you make me out to be—you know this, you could serve my rear end to me on a silver platter—and I can’t come charging in, eyes ablazin’ like Hugh. I sit there, and wait, twiddling my thumbs and trying to keep my heart from exploding.”
He let out a withering sigh, tired of himself and his dismal persona. “I hate not being able to battle.”
Post by MEI MORIMOTO on Jan 3, 2014 20:56:51 GMT 9.5
"I could be a spy!" Mei interjected with a slightly too-eager chirp in her voice, and you could tell from the glint in her bright blue eyes that she was picturing herself in that very image, running around in a tight cat-suit with high tech gadgets. Mind, she wasn't exactly the sexy-spy type and the fact that she had pigtails kind of destroyed any image she had of being sophisticated. "But okay, I'll be careful for you." The gentle squeeze was enough to calm her fantasies and she succumbed to the reality of being snuggled up beside him.
Unfortunately, however, she didn't sense the aggravation in his tone, however minute, and merely swung his hand back and forth. "I wouldn't serve it to you though, Tenny, you know that. And if you're really worried about not being able to battle, we can train together." Leaning up on her toes, she pressed her nose to his cheek. "Come on, your heart wouldn't explode. Not from worry for little ol' me." She perked up, lowering herself so that she wasn't invading so much of his personal space. "Besides, you're specialising. I'm sure you could catch me out with a few weaknesses when you learned a bit more."
Mei was slightly confused by the sigh, and she tilted her head to him as she looked puzzled. "Don't get sad on me, Tenny. I don't wanna see you all upset."
