PLOT AND SETTING
Pokearth had been plagued by terrorist groups for years. Teams and groups all had different reasons for their terrorism, but their goal had always been the same. To be the team in control. Under different leaders, they fought to take over, but each team was beaten and disbanded by a special youngster, one of the group of elite trainers chosen by Oak and the other Professors. Those trainers, the Pokedex Holders, had always been the ones to get involved when things went awry.
Four years ago, the team known as Plasma who were once known for "liberating" Pokemon from their trainers returned. They were defeated by the most recently allocated pokedex holders Kyouhei, Hyu and Mei, who once more took out Ghetsis as White and Black had before.
The years following were surprisngly peaceful. Children began to make their own pokemon journeys, contests began again, the world was united in the fact that they believed there was nothing that could hurt them. People were unaware that danger had been stirring behind closed doors until all of a sudden, people were ejected from their homes by vicious, raging storms that appeared out of nowhere.
Hailstorms, thunderstorms, vicious winds and tornados. These "natural" disasters did not strike on routes, merely focused on towns and cities - and not just in one region, in all of them. Within weeks, thousands of people had been ripped from their homes, moving into spare rooms in other cities while construction companies attempted to rebuild their fallen towns.
Every time they thought they were safe, another storm struck.
It was all too suspicious for the heroes who had been training in private since the defeat of their own enemies. They decided to investigate and found that in every city, there was a rumour of a group with no name that had control of Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus.
The dex holders fell into chaos, arguing over what should be done about the new threat, leaving them divided. Some even defected to the secret group. The others attempted to rally together and put a stop to what was happening.
Both sides began to gather their troops, preparing for an inevitable war between good and evil. Sometimes however, the lines got blurred.
Johto was destroyed in a mighty earthquake, orchestrated by the Knights. Those fighting for good and righteousness sought revenge, but then something happened.
They came out publically, in a crazy attack on Vermillion City. It was a horrible blow, full of explosions and horrifying deaths. There was nothing but death and the smell of burning rubble plagued all of the nearby towns for months following.
The second blow came as a surprise.
People hadn't expected the Elite Four to fall. Not in Kanto. They had always, even in other regions, been renowned for their mighty talents with Pokemon. But fall they had, and fall hard. In a sudden move from the Knights of Arceus, the collection of trainers that had once fought had been killed. Not just beaten, but killed.
It all began when they had managed somehow to capture and harness the power of the God they wished to be seen as. Arceus had been drawn out by an eruption on Mt. Chimney. The molten lava had exploded into the the town, it had taken over the way only a natural disaster could, and the people had to flee as fast as they could.
Not all survived. Two of the most widely mourned victims were great casualties. Flannery of Lavaridge and Emerald, one of the dex holders.
Arceus descended upon the town, ending the horrifying eruption much to the shock of those still surviving - but it's miracle was short lived, caught unawares by a mysterious trap that the Knights of Arceus had been working on behind the scenes.
They disappeared for a while, a few weeks without word while the world waited with bated breath, hoping to gain some news as to what this terrorist group may do.
They saw, with the attack on the League. It was brutal, and it was over in seconds. An almighty attack raged through the building and mountain, leaving both rubble, and leaving no survivors. Just a dust-filled horizon, showing the wreckage as the group once more vanished, leaving panic in their wake.
They had the world's attention. Now they want it's cooperation.
These are the tales of Pokearth thrown into war. From Triumph to Tragedy, we document these tales.
